Moving your firm to Cortege
We review your existing records, agree the scope and load a sample before planning the move.
What to bring to the first call
Your current system, the number of locations, the types of records you want to move and any timing constraints. Do not send family records through the demo form; we will agree how to handle a sample with you.
Review what you have
Tell us which system you use and which records you need to bring across. We review an export or sample to identify missing fields and source limitations.
Your firm: arrange access to the source records and identify who can check them.
Cortege: review the data and explain what can be imported.
Check a sample together
We load a sample of cases, families, contracts and payments. You compare it with your source records, including case references and totals.
Your firm: check the sample and flag differences.
Cortege: investigate differences and correct the import before continuing.
Prepare the team
Before agreeing a go-live date, discuss staff access, locations and the workflows your team needs to practise.
Your firm: identify staff roles and the people responsible for each location.
Cortege: walk through the setup and agree the onboarding support you need.
Agree the move
Confirm the records in scope, the checks to complete and when staff will begin working in Cortege. Keep the original source export for reference.
Your firm: confirm the records have been checked and the team is ready.
Cortege: complete the agreed loading and review the results with you.
The plan depends on your source data
An export from another system, a spreadsheet and a paper archive need different work. The first review establishes the scope and a schedule your team can work with.
