Group payments into a deposit slip
A deposit slip groups existing case payments. It does not create a new payment or move money to the bank.
Create the slip
- Open Settings → Finances → Banking.
- Select Add deposit slip.
- Enter Banked on, Bank, and the slip or reference number.
- Add notes if needed and select Add slip.
Add payments
- Under Not in a deposit slip, select the payments included in the bank run.
- Choose the slip.
- Select Add to deposit slip.
- Open the slip and compare its payments and total with the bank record.
Card and bank-transfer payments can also be grouped when reconciling a payout.
If only some selections were added, check the slip before retrying. A colleague may have already banked or corrected an entry.
Correct the contents
Open the slip and use Remove from slip on a payment assigned by mistake. The payment remains on its case.
Use Edit deposit slip for the banking date, bank or reference. Retire deposit slip stops offering it for new selections while preserving its record.
Read scope and truncation notices. A total limited to your locations, or to displayed payments, must not be treated as the full bank-run total.
Print a reconciliation copy
Open the slip and select Print. The preview loads all payments you can read on that slip, independently of the register's current page. Check the date, bank, reference and total. Voided and non-payment entries remain identified as excluded from the total.
If loading fails, retry before printing; an incomplete list is not a complete reconciliation. The output is a working reconciliation copy, not evidence the bank accepted a deposit. Review the bank record separately. Page selections in the unbanked register apply to that page; repeat for other pages if needed.
