Read reports and receivables

Use Finances → Reports for case and statement summaries. Use Finances → Receivables for outstanding signed accounts.

Review reports

  1. Open Finances → Reports.
  2. Set the date range and apply it.
  3. Review By month, By location and By director.
  4. Read the explanation beside each measure before comparing figures.
  5. Use the export control when you need a file and check any warning in the result.

Case counts and signed-statement counts measure different things. A missing signed statement affects averages differently from an unpaid signed statement.

Work the receivables list

Open Finances → Receivables, review the aging and location breakdowns, and open a case to inspect its statement and ledger.

The outstanding balance is based on signed charges, collected money and write-offs. An insurance promise is not collected money.

Record follow-up in Collections on the case. See Payment plans and collections.

Check limits before sharing

A location-restricted account sees a partial firm view. Read scope labels before sending a report to an owner or bookkeeper.

If the screen or export warns that results are truncated, narrow the period or location. Do not present partial totals as a complete firm report.

For double-entry accounting output, use Accounting.
