Manage the firm's website
Open Settings → Families → Website to manage the generated site. Review the public result whenever you change what families will see.
Prepare the pages
- Choose the theme and colours.
- Enter the tagline, about text, opening hours and contact wording.
- Choose which pages appear: locations, obituaries, staff and prices.
- Add the hero photograph if required.
- Save, then use the website controls to publish when ready.
- Open the displayed public address and check every enabled page.
Publishing the price list places it on the open internet. Check the prices and the firm's approved notice before enabling it.
Publish staff profiles
Choose the colleague, enter the public name, job title and biography, and add a photograph if appropriate. Enable Show on the website for each person who should appear.
Enabling the staff page alone does not publish every member's profile.
Preserve old obituary addresses
Under Your old obituary addresses, enter one mapping per line: old address, comma, case number. Check the target notice.
Redirects operate on a web address verified for the firm. Setting up mappings alone does not change DNS or redirect traffic still going to the former host.
An existing website
Use the supported website connection under Settings → Security & data → Integrations when available. A vendor credential and a configured adapter may be required. Check Recent notices for delivery results.
For notice text and publication, see Review and publish an obituary.
Preview and publish a layout
Under Website layout, choose a template and select Save draft. Preview saved draft opens a private preview using current website text and published content. It does not publish the draft. Unpublished images and price lists stay hidden.
Select Publish saved draft when ready. Publishing a layout is separate from turning on the website or publishing staff profiles and obituaries. Review the public site after publication. Published versions lets you restore an earlier layout. If another person changes the layout, reload before saving again.
The layout preview identifies the saved version and viewport. Save or discard unfinished edits before opening it; preview does not include unsaved text or publish the draft.
